|
|
Hi,
I am in the final stages of building a database driven photo album for the website which will let people do all sorts of interesting things like sending each other e-cards with the photo on which are received by email. As for the Luffenham bash I have some on the way and will add them to the new album.
I have over 500 photos and about 150 films prepared so once the code is OK and tested I will publish the results. Then I'm off to Egypt again for a bit of excitement.
Regards to all - Sebastian _________________ Long Live the Regiment |

Hi All,
Just to give you all (particularly those who have sent me photos) an update.
I have created a Coppermine database-driven photo album on this website and have begun uploading and importing the hundreds of photos that you have sent me into it. Preliminary tests have worked well but I have plenty of work to do now tidying things up, attributing photos to those who submitted them, adding the comments you sent me to them, and adding some information to the database about each photo but I intend to get the bare bones published in the next few days with some photos being published at the weekend.
For those who have sent me photos - They have now all been scanned in and prepare for the new web photo album. I will get them back to you as soon as I have added the information you snet with tem to the database.
Very many thanks to you all and I am sure you will enjoy this project as much as I have building it
Regards
Sebastian
